I very often read the first comments and urgent requests for help in our blogs, and then how we congratulate each other, and it makes me smile. Technogeeks will probably laugh at us, poor digital immigrants. However, through trial and error, as Patricia says and encourages us to go on, we are entering this new world of technology in order to improve our teaching, using new tools.
I feel as if I had visited Europe in a week, rushing from here to there in such a little time. But now I am learning where to come back and what to do there. Technological resources are infinite, we have to make a good use of them.
I am aware that the project I have been working on is not good, the teaching sequence is poor. I'm not satisfied, I have to polish it. I promise I'll do it. Besides, there are some things I haven't been able to upload yet, but I'm trying. I won't give in!
Although we have several means to be in contact with each other, I hope we can have more meetings as they have been so useful, I really need them.
Every time I open Pat's blog, I read "If we teach today's students as we taught yesterday's, we rob them of tomorrow". This has to make us go on trying, get involved, share experiences and enjoy our work.
COMPLETELY TRUE, BEATRÍZ! I feel as you do,pleased to have discovered new horizons and anxious to make the best use of them...but realizing there is much more to learn....
